We usually collect personal information such as your name, address and other contact details. We also collect and store information about your pet and the treatment it receives.

You have a right to access most personal information we hold about you. Please contact our clinic to ask for access to your personal information. You may have a copy of your pet’s history including results of any tests. There is a nominal charge to cover the cost of processing and duplicating radiographs etc. If you think that any information we hold about you is inaccurate please contact the clinic immediately on (03) 5439 5066 to request the information be corrected.
Dr Susan is our experienced bird veterinarian and the only vet in Bendigo with such expertise. She has lived and worked in Victoria, NSW and Scotland. Dr Susan is very passionate about all things avian and is here to help with any questions or concerns you may have with your feathered friend. She is available by consultation Thursday afternoon and all day Friday.
Becoming a vet is the only profession that Dr Kirrilly has considered for as long as she can remember. “Both of my parents are vets. I grew up around the veterinary world as well on a farm in Shepparton. Animals have always been a significant part of my life.” Originally from Shepparton, Dr Kirrilly recently moved to Bendigo to work at myvet Strathfieldsaye.
Head veterinary nurse Amanda always knew that she needed to work with animals. “I didn’t choose to be a vet nurse it chose me. It was an uncontrollable turn of events that lead me down the vet nursing path. Working with animals is the only thing that makes sense for me to do.” Amanda grew up on a dairy farm with three brothers and in an age when collecting tadpoles, eels and turtles was the norm. In fact, there’s not too many animals Amanda didn’t grow up looking after including cows, sheep, goats, pigs, cats (lots!), dogs, ducks, fish, chickens, rabbits, ferrets and alpacas. It’s a childhood not much dissimilar to her own children’s.
Paula Sanderson is one of our qualified veterinary nurse. Her lovable lab is called ‘Minty’. Paula’s Top Nurse Tip is to invest in pet insurance, no one every regrets it!
Brooke Elliott is our trainee veterinary nurse. Her gentle girl is called ‘Bella’.
